On a wall
"This painting is the raw reality of living with PTSD and a whole-body Post-Thoracic Pain Syndrome (PTPS). It isn't a smooth, predictable loop; it is a violent, electric reverberation that shocks through every single limb. The fire has broken all boundaries, stretching across the vast forest of my horizon. The vertical lines are the literal currents of nerve pain, zapping straight through my mind and body all at once. But look at the heavy, thick strokes at the very bottom—that is me clawing for footing. Desperately searching to ground myself and hang on. I painted what it feels like to be a living lightning rod, standing tall and vibrant even when the currents are screaming."
